Hello dear!! Have u and ur spouse received your Passport back?

I received mine and my daughter’s on 23-Mar from SGVO, but NDVO is keeping my husband’s passport :(

Hello,

How long did it take for you to get your GCMS notes after you applied for it? I am applying for it today.
Do you think our NOC codes have any affect on the PPR approval?

1st one I got exactly after 29 days, 2nd one after 55 days! but usually they send it with 30 calendar days. No NOC related effect is there in generating GCMS notes.

That's great news that you and daughter have already received it. NDVO generally does not take much time in stamping. Do you already have "Approved" status on your cic profile with counterfoil and other details? If that's the case then your husband's passport is on its way. Also he must have opted for courier service so a bit additional time for that as well. Let me know.

Thanks Anwar :)

regarding the NOC code, i wondered if that would be having any affect on our PR processing.

Not yet approved. Still says “Action Required” because of that new placeholder for Passport and Picture. I am thinking of uploading it but SGVO said to ignore it and no action required.

I think this is not the case now since there are really a lot waiting for their passports too, not only my husband.

Indeed there are some issues with their s/w. I had my application "Approved" and Review of Additional Documents read "The additional documents you provided have been uploaded". But, few days after I received my Passport and COPR the Additional Document section changed back to "We are reviewing the additional documents you provided". Now God only knows which additional documents they review after issuing the COPR and stamped Passports. Its funny!! But never mind. As far as we get our COPR and Passports, we are good to go.

The reason for your NDVO holding many Passports is the issuance of student's visa during this month wbich started last month. Apparently this is expected to go more or less till 15th April after which they will get back to PR job.

But, to be on the safe side I hope you have mailed and asked SGVO whether to upload the pictures and Passports or not. These guys are very funny I must say.

Yep, emailed them and responded to ignore it. :D

I got new updates. Application was approved yesterday (status on the application list is still Action Required), and hubby’s passport dispatched today. Finally, I can pack my luggage :)

See you there!

That's good news! Congratulations to both of you. So when are you planning to fly? We will be there on 27th July.

Hi, which country are you from ?

i plan to land in July but a bit confused about how to transfer money from my home country
which process/method are you going to follow ??

Singapore. My bank has free overseas transfer but at a lower rate. I also found transferwise.com offering higher rate.

You can check with your bank about Demand Draft if it is available. Not quite sure what other options we have, bring cash, perhaps :)

That's great!! I am not able to PM you as your account settings are not allowing it. Need to exchange numbers so that we can be in touch once we reach there. Let me know.
