Hi all,
I have moved to IP2 on 27th Feb.i saw in some groups in forum ppl saying that it is a glitch as lot of applications have moved to IP2 ...is it so..Anyb

No its not glitch! It is reflecting true status of your application as confirmed by IRCC official twitter account in reply to one candidate. Even people who got IP2 on 27th Feb started getting PPR already.

Not a glitch at all. It true and applicants are already receiving PPR. You will get it soon. All the best!

Hi there. FYI for your spouse Passport he can courier it to VFS in India. They have given this as one of the options if the applicants can't visit them personally. Let me know.

Thanks for the info, however, he already visited VFS Kolkata on Monday. He was asked for both the PPR letters, first one to send the passport to SGVO, and the second one to NDVO (for him only). His passport was already received by NDVO yesterday.

That's great news!! Although he could have saved couple of pennies on his tickets

The good news is I have received my COPR and Passport with counterfoil today. My spouse n kids already had got it last week. So all set!!

Congrats! Why did they get it earlier? Where did you send your passport for stamping? And when do you plan to land?

They got it earlier because they had submitted their Passports in High Commission of Canada in New Delhi. Stamping is fast in this office approx, 10-12 days. Me being in Dubai couldn't go to Delhi for stamping due to work commitments. So I got mine changed to UAE and got it stamped in Abu Dhabi. Due to the fact that their passports were stamped mine one also got stamped quickly although average time for stamping in Abu Dhabi is 25-30 days.

Our flight is on 26th July. Hope we catch up there.

SGVO time is approx 15-20 days n NDVO is around 10 days but both r pretty swift with their actions. Rest assured you guys will get it pretty soon. All the best!!

Not so sure about this in my case. My status changed to background check in progress on 27 Feb along with the others and I am still waiting.. guess NDVO thought of slowing down a bit with my application in hand.

Guys.. when actually do we get a mail saying that we can begin with the job search and the processing has started? Do all applicants get that mail?
I am applying through a consultancy and they have said that no such mail came in my case.. could that be a possibility too?

Hi, I had received that email once my case was approved by the province and before my ITA received actually, but i dont think this has anything to worry about in your case, i am in IP2 and it was moved to IP2 on Feb 27th - being processed in NDVO,
