How long does WES take to update the status after receiving the documents?

My school (in US) sent the transcript to Canada on June 30. I am assuming it doesn't take that long for mail to reach Canada, yet my application status has still not been updated. It still says: waiting for required documents. The same goes for my husband (same school). Can I assume that the documents got lost and resend them, or does it really take this long for WES to update the status?

Hey,

Have you checked that whether the courier which your school in US sent received by WES in their "Track It" Option (once you sign-in, you will notice the same in left-bottom side). If it is there, then it is confirmed that WES received the documents while overall it took them three working days time to update the status.

Thanks for the suggestion. I am afraid, though, that my school sent it via snail mail, therefore no tracking number. I guess I have to wait and see whether they'll update it by the end of this week.

It took me 2 weeks in June from the time I asked my school to send transcripts to WES (my school was in New York) and the day I got my WES results by email. If your status doesn't change by Monday, I'd resend by courier, with a tracking number.

It took 14 working days for me , with a speed delivery option.

I will suggest you call them at exactly 9am in the morning. WES is becoming slow.

My documents reached their office and was updated after the 6th business working days. I sent several mails without any response and finally called before they now checked and confirmed they have received it, then eventually updated my profile.

I will advice you call because their services is becoming unprofessional.

did u do a WES evaluation for an American degree? I thought that was not required.
I did my bachelor's at American university in UAE and the transcript is already in GPA format... so was told i dont need to send it..
I sent my UK Masters though..is that fine?

My school is NY as well, that's why I'm getting worried - it should be easy to deliver to Toronto. I'll take the advice and call them. Seems like the best option.

EFK, all degrees issued outside of Canada must be assessed if you want to claim points for them. No exceptions.

Urgh, I am getting so frustrated. I asked my school to send yet another transcript. Still nothing received in WES. I called them and they said they got nothing in my name.
It's been 18 days since the first transcript was mailed (from NY), and 5 days since the second one. I mean, honestly, how long does the mail take to reach Canada!?
I asked my school to use a courier, but they said they only use First Class Mail and there is no other option.

Any ideas on what I could do?
