WES status "on hold"

Hi,
This is very informative thread.
My status is on hold since 21st Dec for my MBA docs to be verified by Pune University. I have seen in some threads that people visiting Pune University campus and get the job done. However it's not possible for me since I am in another state which is far away
I just wanted to know that whether PUNE UNIVERSITY automatically replies to Wes Verification mails or not. And if it does how much time it takes to complete the process.

Hi,
You have no other option other than visiting the pune university, before going there please download the application form for verification of degree and marksheet, take a printout of the challan and pay at the facilities center at the pune university, then you will have to go to the new exam building and contact any staff there, they will tell you the next steps.
Does spouse of inland applicant need to do WES evaluation?
If I have to do WES, is it ok to just evaluate my highest qualifications? Like just evaluate my Masters degree alone and not bother about my Bachelor degree?

Hi Thanks, But I already got the transcripts in a sealed envelope via online process of Pune University last year,which I had sent to WES. Now again I have to pay fees and go there for same transcripts to be verified?

My status changed today from Pending for Verification to Evaluation in Progress,I guess Pune University has replied them automatically,I hope now my report comes asap.

They haven't given any Expected date yet , but hoping they are satisfied with University reply, and I get that date soon.
Status again changed to : ON HOLD..I think WES not happy with Institute's reply and have sent them for Verification again.
I thought as much, this happened to me several times until I went to the university and met the concerned staff who replies to these emails.
Please be aware that at times an automated email gets generated which is why you change in the status.
Did you go to the university and check? Getting transcript and verification of degrees is two different process. If you still have not gone to the University I strongly suggest that you do so now.
You can also call up WES and check with the agent on your application status

I am facing exactly similar situation with Pune University and my status has changed from "on hold" -> "reviewing" -> "on hold" again and when I called WES they said that they are not happy with reply from Pune university and they did not verify my profile in correct manner. Moreover WES is not ready to tell what is wrong with verification and neither telling me email id to which they have send an email for verification.
Could you guide me what steps did you take after this to resolve the situation?

I desperately need help because my university application deadline is soon approaching. Please help guys!

There is no staff in particular, you need to go to the new exam building and reach out to any staff in the certificate section. For a start you can ask for Davakhar ma'am.
