Does anyone know if you still have to get WES evaluation for spouse if she only has up to a secondary school education? I know the $270 isn't worth it for just 2 points, so was just checking. She has actually completed college too. But would have to request documents from the UK for this, which would be an additional $200, so it certainly isn't worth $470 for just the 6 points.
Logically NO if you are able to make enough points - over 430 - for playing on safer side.
Just to add, the chances of her getting either sent in a sealed envelope are very slim. So guessing that she wouldn't be able to get them assessed anyway?
Without sealed envelope with proper stamping and signature, WES never accept the document and asked you to submit again, which is again a waste of time.
Could anyone tell me the equivalent to High School in Canada is. Is that secondary school in England and then college in England would be the equivalent to "Two-year program at a university, college, trade or technical in school, or other institute"?
Its confusing here how school works. My spouse has done her A Level's, but I am not sure the equivalent.
For checking the equivalents, try using the WES tool at https://www.wes.org/ca/preliminary/poe.asp
Lastly, does anyone know if the fee is per person, or can I send my spouse's details in at the same time and it will be cheaper? I presume that it would save on the postage fee as they would send them both together at least?
Yes, the fee is for per person while say if you send the two person document TOGETHER, then they will reject directly as WES accept per application, one person only.
Hope the answer helps.
