Hello guys,

I've a query regarding getting my WES evaluation. I'm originally from India and my Bachelor's degree in Computer Science was in India - a 4 year course.

I subsequently studied my Master's (Computer Science) from the USA. A 2 year course.

When I proceed to start my application with WES, I don't see a "USA" option in the list of countries to select from. So, does this mean I don't have to get the MS degree evaluated?

Also, a new to WES question. Do you have to get assessed by WES all education qualifications beginning from secondary school until the last degree, or just the last acquired qualification?

Thank you very much for reading and taking time to respond.

Just your highest degree is fine. Avoid WES if you can. They are terrible.

You just need the highest education credentials to be assessed, although WES (others I am not sure) would do all of them for the same fee.

USA is indeed one of the countries, please see .. http://www.wes.org/ca/fswp/requireddocuments/index.asp

I used WES and my experience was nice. They were quick with everything. Some people have reported issues, but then those are country specific issues I guess. For USA, it should be a charm.

Regards

What charm? nskatcv must have used WES when they weren't experiencing backlogs in May or something. Just read through the appalling reviews on consumeraffairs.com website (just google WES and consumer affairs to get the link)
All my degrees (bachelor's and master's) are from the US. They are taking far too long to process applicants and their customer service is abysmal. I would definitely look into the first two organizations below before committing yourself to WES.

Designated organizations for Educational Credential Assessments
You can arrange to get your assessment from:

Comparative Education Service – University of Toronto School of Continuing Studies
International Credential Assessment Service of Canada
World Education Services
Medical Council of Canada (professional body)
Pharmacy Examining Board of Canada (professional body)

I did use WES, but not in May, rather in the middle of June (20th).

I am not saying WES is best or others are bad. Just sharing my experience.

They were quick in replying to my query before I applied, and were very fast in accepting the documents and after receiving, finished the assessment in a couple of days. I don't know what else can be said to work like a charm.

I am sorry for your bad experience.
