I completed my bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from Pakistan and then completed my Engineering Masters degree from South Korea. I am currently working in South Korea.

For Canadian immigration/skilled express entry; I have to take the educational assessment form WES. Regarding that, I have following questions from you:

1. For Bachelors degree attestation from Pakistan, I've sent forms (by courier) to HEC and asked them to just seal the photocopy of my Bachelors degree and send to me in Korea. From here; I intend to send WES the sealed attested Bachelors degree by myself. Is it fine or Shall i ask HEC to send directly to them? If HEC has to send them then what is the purpose of sealing? I am confused.

2. For Bachelors degree attestation from Pakistan, do I also need to attest and seal my Metric and Intermediate certficates from BISC them to send to me; so I can send to WES. Or, I dont need to send sealed copies of my Metric and Intermediate certificates for my bachelors attestation.

Please guide. Your assistance will be very useful.

I completed my both Metric & FSC from Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Peshawar. My HEC attestation (for Bachelors degree) is in process now as I already sent them my all original required documents for attestation of my bachelors degree. But, now, as you said FSC is also required to be attested and the WES website states : "SECONDARY EDUCATION - Required for all evaluations. To be sent directly to WES by the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education. Documents must be verified by the Controller of Examinations. Please click here to download an academic transcript request form. "

Since, I am in Korea and there is no one in Pak who can help me on this issue, at the moment, is there any online method from which I could ask Board members to attest my Metric/FSC documents and send to WES directly.

Please advise. I'll be very thankful.

NO, HEC will not send sealed envelope to WES, but they will send back to you the sealed envelopes containing attested photocopies of your BS degree and Transcript. That sealed envelope, you further need to forward to WES by yourself. Purpose of HEC sealed envelope is authentic source of attestation and also the golden stamp have a number, which WES will verify online through accessing HEC database.

2. For Bachelors degree attestation from Pakistan, do I also need to attest and seal my Metric and Intermediate certficates from BISC them to send to me; so I can send to WES. Or, I dont need to send sealed copies of my Metric and Intermediate certificates for my bachelors attestation.

YES, both Matric & FS.C certificates are required by WES, attested photocopies in sealed envelope by BISE Peshawar. BISE Peshawar will not provide you the envelopes, rather they will directly send to WES, you need to provide application form filled and signed to BISE. Unfortunately, no Online process, but you can get it done through authority letter by sending some of your friend/relative to BISE.

Please guide. Your assistance will be very useful.

One more thing, If you have not paid WES fee already, you can get it processed through IQAS which eliminates the barriers of BISE certificates, and same processing time now a days, they only need your BE (ME) from HEC (sealed envelope) and Masters from Korean University (no need of Matric and F.Sc), you will get same ECA results as by WES, but simple process.

Further search on this forum other posts related to key words : "WES Pakistan", or "ECA Pakistan" you will find similar information.

Unfortunately, I already paid WES. Had I not paid them, i would've definitely gotten these documents processed through IQAS.

Nevertheless, as per your advise; I would ask my friend, who resides in Islamabad, to process my Metric and FSC certificates. Regarding this; could you please advise on my following questions:

1. Can I ask Interboard Committee of Chairmen (IBCC)/Islamabad office to do the attestation on behalf of BISE Peshawar? Otherwise, my friend has to go to Peshawar for attestation. Following is the link of IBCC where they state that they can do online attestation: ww.ibcc.edu.pk/attestation.php. I need to know where exactly i need to send my friend for my case. Unlike HEC website, I can't find any useful website or clear indication on BISE website for Metric, FSC attestation issues for WES.Cost, timings, sealing etc.

2. My Orginal Metric and FSC certificates are already attested. I was thinking I might just take their photocopy and send them with the sealed Bachelors degree attestation only and my masters credentials from Korea. Do u think it could be a waste of time coz of possible rejection by WES?

3. My orginal documents (including metric/FSC) are now with HEC for their Bachelors degree attestation. I used Gerry's international courier service. After I receive those Original FSC/Metric certificates; I will send them back for BISE or BISE peshawar and ask them to send to WES directly. I was wondering if there is some agency which could do this work for overseas pakistanis. I found this one:

No, WES will not accept attestation from IBCC. You need to get it through BISE Peshawar

You should never send any original document to WES. They will not accept it and they will not return it to you either.

You can try to talk to them. They will charge a heavy fees which may be 15K to 20K because your board is Peshawar. In my opinion, they are reliable. You just have to pay them.

Dear Mohsin, as Imran said, WES will not Accept IBCC but only through BISE Peshawar.

Agreed with Imran and NO to your approach, as WES needs only the photocopies attested by BISE in a sealed envelope, otherwise rejected. As your original Matric+F.Sc attested, it won't take much effort and time for BISE peshawar, can be done in one-visit, if Controller available to sign, no issue.

I know this mamooinpakistan, seems not legit to me, karachi based, In fact personally had conversation with them. Don't go for any agent. My suggestion to you is you send your friend, though your WES process will be delayed, but the application have no expiry, your status will be on-wait until you process all docs and send to them. It doesn't matter how many months you take to do it, WES have no issue in that, as soon as you will send them docs, they will process. So go through proper channel, regardless of the tireless efforts and time consumed. Prob is you already paid for WES which requires Matric+F.Sc, in contrast to IQAS. Nonetheless, once you managed to do BISE peshawar stuff, then you are good to go. Good Luck!

Hope you're doing well. I need your help with secondary education attestation. I've already sent my attested BBA degree and transcript copies to WES and those have been accepted. I missed sending the secondary education docs as I thought those aren't required (highest degree already sent). However, I've received an email from WES saying that those docs are missing and they're waiting.

I'm confused about the process, especially between IBCC and Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education. Where do I go for attestation? Please note that I did my O and A Levels and already have Equivalence Certificates from IBCC.

i have few questions:

question 1) i have trade certificate ( electronics) from Australia and from that occupation i will apply for Canadian immigration,

but i also have 4 year bachelor degree ( commerce) from Karachi, Pakistan ( which is totally different and does not relate to my occupation) , can i get more points for bachelor degree as well and should i get that bachelor degree assessed from WES as well?
