WES evaluation in progress,Can I use the reference code on Express entry profile

Hello friends, I have applied for Express Entry with CEC, my WES degree evaluation is still in progress which might take another few weeks, can I still use the reference code for WES application on the Express entry profile. Has anyone done that ?

I have done the same by using the WES reference number and appended IMM in the end. I got the invitation now and the WES evaluation completion date is after my ITA reception date. However, the ECA reference number is same as what I mentioned earlier. I am now confused if my application would be rejected if I update the correct issue date and if they see that this date is different from my express entry profile.
