I am Ethan , I’m writing this email with some questions for BC PNP - Skills Immigration program, I hope to receive an answer from whom knows or experienced it
Currently, I am pursuing a second-degree Bachelor of Computer Science at the University of British Columbia (expected to graduate Dec 2024) and before that, I had a bachelor's degree in Biotechnology in Vietnam. My partner and I are in a common-law relationship, we will apply for BC PNP - International Post-graduates and my partner is the main applicant. In my case, do I need to evaluate my bachelor's degree in Vietnam through World Education Services (WES)? o

Post your question to the PNP section of the forum.

This section is for Canadians sponsoring family members for PR.

Neither of you are already PR/citizen, so this is not a family sponsorship question. For family sponsorship, there is no requirement to evaluate any education.

Thank you so much for the answer! In my case, I am a sponsored person so it means I do not need to evaluate a previous education from another country outside Canada, right? Could you please help me with a link reference or official documents to let me read getting more details?

This is not considered a form of sponsorship, but as dependent of a principal applicant. What you should be looking for is whether it is required of spouses in that program, and if not required, whether it improves your spouse's application (eg through points). It is most likely not required but may be helpful. Ask on the relevant forum.

You are NOT sponsored because your spouse/common law partner is NOT a PR already. So whatever I said about family sponsorship do not apply to you.
And that's what I meant when I posted that you are asking your question in the wrong section.
