That was very kind of you. I also checked with the COE office yesterday and they said they’ve replied to WES. But WES hasn’t updated it yet. Keeping fingers crossed

@Sindhuja Karthikeyan There are no definitive timelines. In my case, they took the whole seven weeks and then they confirmed having received new documents. My time lines are as listed:
Documents sent : 14 Jul
Documents received by Wes : 19 Jul
Documents under review : 26 Jul
Status changed to “on hold” : 01 Aug
Status changed to “In progress” : 19 Sep
Evaluation report “under review” : 25 Sep
ECA report due by : 16 Oct
I did visited Anna University transcript section / COE and they confirmed having responded on 16 Aug itself, however Wes took the whole seven weeks for the status update. Better than a second verification.
Hope they make it faster, in your case.

When my husband faced re-verification on 09June18, it took him only a day after the documents were sent (16June18) to have them accepted (17June18) and only 2 days thereafter to receive his ECA report (19June18). Since then though, the process has become longer and more variable across candidates. Some are getting their status updates in a day or two of sending the documents and for others, the status update could take upto 5 working days. That's for email re-verification. For re-verifications done over snail mail, the process could take from a month to even 7 weeks, as @char28 has pointed out. Finally, the ECA report itself is also taking time for issuance, even if re-verification is done successfully and status updated by WES to documents accepted.
However, if your issuing institution has sent the re-verification response over email, the status update should take no more than 5 working days, if correctly worded and acceptable to WES. For mailed responses, given the variability of snail mail receipts (and with Canada Post currently under labour negotiations), the process can take longer. If your response has already been received by WES and you have confirmation of the same, just hang in there for a total of 5 business days before checking

The university did confirmed that the response was sent over email and no hard copy verification being done. I have been chasing the Wes twitter team regarding the receipt of the email. However, they replied stating that “Wes has not received a response yet”, despite university replied over email. @Sindhuja Karthikeyan If your Wes status has been changed from “on hold” to “in progress”, then you shall get your report faster as @Nishika22 clarified.
I have got my status changed to in progress last night
I had sent a mail to WES few hours before that, stating that the university has already replied to their mail. I don’t know if that mail was the reason behind the status change but it is worth a try

It was put on hold on 17th Sep. I waited for few days and contacted the university. But they hadn’t received any mail from WES then. Last Monday I again checked with the university and they said they had replied to WES already. WES didn’t change the status till last eve and I sent them a mail stating that the university had already replied. Within hours, the status changed.

Email is better. Postal mail will only delay things.My status ON HOLD!

Has ayone got verifications done from UPTU (Now AKTU) . My MBA degree and transcripts has been sent to them by WES, but I am not sure if the university is responsive enough. I tried to contact the university by email and phone several times but there is no response. If someone has been in the same situation with AKTU, please help how to proceed further.
