Visa is required for US, better you change your route to London heathrow where visa is not required for short stay inside airport.

Yes, Visa is required for US transit, i.e. if you are not from visa exempt country's citizen

hi sheeno no doubt u will need a visa even if u r taking a transit flight via us,suggest u to take British or Jet Airways via London as thez allow u 2 checkin bagages

What about China Southern airlines. They also allow 2 Checkin Baggage.

Ay good or bad experience, pls share. Since this is the cheapmost one , it will have some hidden truth i believe.

You could also try Lufthansa. They do allow two bags. We have booked our tickets by Lufthansa.
