Hi Free Bird,

well Calgary is basically divided in 4 quadrants NE is more of immigrants and mostly South Asian,NW is all expensive housing less of immigrants,SE AND SW are also less of immigrants and more local population and lots of industrial area.

now it depends where are you from if you are from india i can guide you more as being an indian i understand the culture better than ne other culture,

i would again insist start checking the housing right away.

and when are you planning to land.

best of luck

Thank you for your information.
I am not indian. Actually, we are a mixed family, i am Middle Eastern and my wife is European, so i think we can fit anywhere, only a safe and clean neighborhood is our concern.

A Canadian PR must apply for a visiting visa to travel to the States....it's very easy though as you'll be asked some simple questions about your work and how you live. Also, you will pay the visa fee of $160.

After becoming a Canadian citizen, then you can travel with your Canadian passport to the US without a visa.
