Your local appliances will work here. The voltage here is lower than that of Pakistan (220-240V) but the socket is different so you will just need a converting plug and not a voltage converter.

i dont believe so....u will have to check on ur device label if it can work for 110 and 220.. if not u will require a converter

laptop and cell fone chargers may need voltage converter check ur appliance charger for specifications...but they will definitely need socket converter..in india socket is round pins where as canada has flat pins

like said if ur appliance is not wired for 110 and 220 volts the voltage will have to be changed from 110-120 volts at the canadian socket, to whatever voltage your appliance requires. This is accomplished with a voltage transformer. there r converters that convert voltage and the socket both.

my device works at 220 volts here in pakistan i know dat now do i need to change it to 110-120 volts laong wit a canadian socket?just asking that bro

You'll need to buy two things:

1. A 'step up' voltage converter.
2. A Plug Adapter


Recheck your appliance to see whether it's only 220 or 110-220v it might be mentioned on the charger.
