My wife will be landing on Saturday when she comes to Canada after more than a year since she last left. Finally this journey is over.

We received a request for RPRF today, and the status has changed to Background Check - In Progress.
Hopefully that means we're close to the finish line.

Thanks guys. I might have posted more than a month back. That's when my wife got her PPR. But she was working with the UN in Afghanistan so she could not send her passport as she had to have her passport with her at all times. She sent her passport on Dec 2 and got it back on Tuesday luckily in time for her flight.

I got our GCMS notes today. They are dated December 1 2016, we got our re-medical request on December 20, 2016

Eligibility: not started
Security: not started
Criminality: not started
Medicals: passed-expired

I hope they started working on our app after they requested remedical.

I'm thinking the same thing. I feel like ordering notes again because it should say if they have made progress on our case since.

I think by the time you got the notes you will have heard from them but it costs very little and has no effect on your app. I know our last set we didn't even bother to read them.

thanks fpr your quick respond, someone told me that status to in progress is getting switched only if the fee paid and confirmation received by CIC
