Yes, if they will request to submit the passport. It will be a Problem because we don't stay in India or we go to india for couple of months. Let see what Ottawa will response on this.

You submit your passport by VFSglobal. Really does not matter where you are. Only the worry of your passport travelling around the country without you. It is very efficient. It will all work out. Good luck

My background check Is in process for two months now.....

Wow, that's very disappointing. - Sorry to hear you're still waiting.
It's extremely frustrating to see the same status week after week with no movement whatsoever.
I gather something must be going on at the Warsaw VO, because by all calculations a couple other people on this forum should've already received an update by now, and yet it seems like the entire queue has been stalled. I hope they didn't just start their holiday season too early.

Checking everyday like crazy, sometimes even twice a day :/

Nearly 8 months since submitted application and 6 since approval of sponsorship.

I worry if it takes so long it will be bad news ;(

Believe me I know it is hard but try not to worry. I assume you ordered your gcms notes. If there is a problem you will get an email asking for clarification or additional documentation. My guess is that you will hear something very soon.

No I haven't as I didn't know how to do it and my husband is Canadian so he would have to do it anyway and he doesn't see any point as nothing we can do now in last stage really anyway

There is a thread that will help you order them. By ordering ours we were able to be one step ahead and it saved us a lot of time.

that's very disappointing. Was hoping to get my permanent residency status around January but seems like it's not very likely they'll start processing my back ground check till then

What's your status? They asked you for additional documents? Are you both outside Canada?
