My guess is you should expect PPR in a week or two. ;)

I can't wait for May applicants to see some movement from WVO. A few months ago I had hope to be with my husband for Christmas, but with this snail speed it seems unrealistic.

We are getting closer to the end of this waiting game :)

So just a bit of an update. We received an email saying that our application is with a visa officer. Two days later our online status was updated to Medical results have been received. So my question is once our application is approved what happens next. How quickly can we purchase plane tickets? Also how long does it take between the medical results being received and application being approved?

Another 3-4 months.

I wouldn't buy plane tickets before I got COPR in my hands. Especially if PA is not from a visa-exempt country.

Hey guys we got AOR1 on the 3rd of November and then mycic showed that my medicals are passed. Is this normal to have meds passed first before SA and file transfer? Keep your fingers crossed!

Thanks! :) Funny, though, so my husband got the AOR1 via email on the 3rd, and then I linked the application to mycic on the 4th and now mycic shows that the application was submitted on the 4th. Weird, but I guess I'm gonna hope for the best!

You will see all kinds of strange reporting. It takes a combination of mycic, the older ecas system and ordering your gems notes once a month to have any idea about what is happening.

Yeah, I think I'll wait for file transfer (hopefully) for gmcs notes, and so far ecas only has AOR on it and nothing on medicals, so I'd say mycic is the most recent. I'll wait until SA (knock on wood) before I check status every day :D Out app was fairly thick, so it might take a bit longer then some other October applicants, who got AOR in 10 days and SA in 3!

Congrats, its much faster now, it took us 60 days to get SA. Good luck, hope the rest of the process is speedy.
