Wow! Amazing! So happy for you! :)
Me and my husband applied two weeks after you. We really hope our PPR comes in soon too, and we can also finally live together! Cause it has been almost two years since I left Canada. My husband missed out on my pregnancy and the birth of our baby. He came to visit last year. Only for a week unfortunately (because of work). It is insane for how long loved ones have to be separated from each other.
I am super happy and excited that things are moving forward in Warsaw. This means we are one step closer to being reunited with our partner again!
Good luck to all of you! :)

Congrats granol! I am very happy for you :) please make sure you update the spreadsheet! :)

It breaks my heart to hear stories like this. The journey to marrying a canadian person is definitely long and arduous. I really hope that you hear something soon! You deserve to be reunited with your husband as soon as possible!

Thank you so much! It is definitely worth a wait! Sooner or later we will all be with our loved ones. ;)

Let's all keep our fingers crossed :) if things keep moving at the same pace, there or about 4 of us who should have some good news by the end of the month :)!!

Congrats everyone who got their ppr on the 8th of January. Good start of the year.. I think we are getting close jcallahan. .. as finally there is new movement. Fingers crossed. I was just able to finally log in. My main computer keeps saying I am banned from this discussion. I know my wife and my kids are getting anxious that soon she will be here. Hope Trudeau changes the dependants age back to 22 as we applied for a visitors Visa for her one son to come here to see Canada and I would love if he could start life here with us. Keep all of us dated.

Thanks to all of you... My wife and I are so happy we are still having difficulty to beleive it is really happening cause after seeing the change in early January of 18-26 months we were so discouraged that we thought it would be not before summer or even a year more but then just a few days after "surprise" PPR... BTW they didn't ask for PPR scan first like they did with the previous batch and we got "Decison Made" the next day which is what Warsaw usually do... We are planning that she will land on the 30th of January if we get the passport with the visa back in time... I will keep you guys inform.

I am sure many of you will have a good news soon as you applied right after me :)

Hi everyone!

I thought I would join this thread as an update on timelines.

Background info: I'm Canadian and have a Lithuanian fiance. We are both living in the UK.

Application received: July 7, 2015
Application sent to Warsaw: September 9, 2015
Approved and request for passport submission: January 11, 2016

Hopefully it won't be too long before we get the PR certificate!

Good luck to everyone!!

Awesome! That is very good news, fast processing I always nice to see! Congrats and best of luck to the both of you :)

Congrats to all others who got good news from immigration in 2016 so far. Best of luck to others who are anxiously waiting.

Also as an FYI for future applicants, my wife was uncertain about being able to fly into Canada in December and waiting in the country while a decision is made. She did have a valid tourist visa to enter the country for 6 months at a time but thought they wouldn't let her in until a decision was made. Her worries were unnecessary because it is completely fine to wait out the final stages of your application in Canada. The border guards can see on their computers that there is an active PR application and the person who was handling her entry commented that "I can see you have an application and that it's almost done." They are basically checking whether the application will be done within the next 6 months.

Just wanted to check in here as my case is also in Warsaw. Cheers
