congrats!!

and curious: it does look like Warsaw doesn't update myCIC and ECAS much until the last minute for DM, right? Or did you manage to see the change into background check in progress? I am trying to figure out when would be the best time to order GMCS notes.

If you haven't read my posts: my background check status changed on the 27th of January, the same day I received GMCS notes which where requested on January 17th. I ordered them exactly 21 days before. They don't show any information from the Warsaw VO, the last record is that Ottawa sent the paper file which happen on October 18th. So in my case I ordered the notes 82 days after I had received AOR2 and they were useless.

Do you guys know if I can call CIC or Warsaw Visa Office? MyCIC account is malfunctioning lately, it doesn't show any application being linked to my account, I have to redo it almost everyday.

You can only use the call center. Warsaw does not deal with the software side. Sending in a cse technical inquiry on the internet is useless

Order them once a month. Some will be boring and frustrating but then you will see progress. It does not hurt in any way except for the five dollars.

Thank you for advice, I'll try to call them on Monday.

Ecas says the decision is made! :)
There you go! Welcome to canada

@takapraca Congratulations! Our changed as well to decision made. We applied 2 weeks before you :)

I'm sorry if I am repeating myself but what is the next step after Decision made? We already paid Right of residence fee. Next step would be passport request? If yes, how long does it take from DM to passport request? We didn't get any notification I just checked the application status through website, nothing in MyCiC account.

Thank you!

Warsaw is pretty efficient so it should be in the next week. Congratulations

Congratulations on the recent DM's :)

Yes, congratulations to all!

Here's a question: does an address change somehow slow down the application? We're thinking of moving into a larger apartment, but I suddenly got worried that maybe that would somehow slow the application down?

Hi All,

We received a letter today requesting a photocopy of the first page of the passport and 2 pictures as well as the confirmation of any changes including mailing address. The mailing address on this letter is the one in Poland and my husband is currently in Canada, shall we change this mailing address to Canadian? Should we still send all that to Warsaw or Ottawa? Once we send that to either Warsaw or Ottawa how long does it take to get the document confirming residency? Should we pay and organize a courier to send it back or they will mail that using regular post?

Thank you!

Background check on our application has changed to "In Progress".

How far is DM status after this stage in your experience?

Thank you.

Not at all.
