I should have got my next set of GCMS notes on Friday. I emailed them yesterday. Nothing so far. Lets see if there has been any change at all.

I just received my gcms notes that were captured august 20. There was no change at all. Then on august 22 we received a request for additional information. I will be curious to see if the next set has any change.

Yes, got SA on June 7. File transferred and in process since June 28. Online says medicals passed. After that nothing.

Just a tip. Make sure you go back to when your spouse was 18 not the 10 years they ask for. Warsaw asked for an update on our form but they do not tell you why. This was the only thing we could think of. They asked for this despite having a translated workbook which tells them the same information. We have to follow the directions and read minds.

I wonder if warsaw has any visa officers? I never hear of any movement. My spouse goes on a eastern Europe forum and tells me there seems to be lots of movement at the kiev office but I did not even think they were handling PR's.

Yes, Kiev is handling PR's. There was a time when Ukrainian applications were forwarded to Warsaw (because of the Euromaidan in late 2013) but it seems to be back in business for a while now.
Warsaw has been very silent for a while indeed. I wonder what's going on in there.

I spoke with a person who works at the Warsaw office and they said that all officers in charge of processing files were back to work in the second half of August. Another interesting fact is that according to him, all files are being processed in Ottawa office and Warsaw only does the communication part. Is anybody here able to confirm or deny any of it?

I can only tell you that we got a request for additional documents and we sent it to Warsaw as well we sent updated relationship info there earlier. Our gcms notes showed the paper file being transferred to Warsaw so I think it is all being done at warsaw

Not a confirmation but I believe there is some truth to that. Ottawa processes the sponsors part, they also put all the documents into the system (scan everything and shred the excess chat logs, for example). However, I highly doubt Ottawa does the actual relationship evaluation since in this part of the process the officer has to be familiar with local traditions and norms.
