Hello All,

So there is an update from me and my partner; we recieved the following letter from CIC Warsaw office; i look at it positvely or they don't have enough evidence; what surprises me is that she has a EU passport and they are asking for an interview? If anyone has experienced this, let me know what you think; most of what they require we have, we did not submit a big file just pieces here and there:

To allow this office to continue processing your application, it is necessary for you to attend an interview at the Embassy. Your scheduled interview will take place in Warsaw at 11:00 on 10 March 2016.

Please note that this appointment will not be rescheduled. If you fail to appear on the date and time given above, we shall assume that you are either unable or unwilling to appear for an interview and will assess your application on the basis of available information.

You must report to the Immigration Receptionist at 08:45 hrs.

You should bring the following documents for your interview:
- proper original police certificate from the United Kingdom. Please see:
- original Polish police certificate (only translation on file),
- evidence that your sponsor intends to resume residence in Canada (other than those submitted), i.e. evidence that he has looked for or secured employment, etc.)
- additional proof of cohabitation with your sponsor (besides those already submitted), i.e. proof that you and your sponsor has been residing together, bills/receipts issued in both names, proof that you and sponsor have started to combine your financial affairs/assets, documents showing travel together, documents showing joint ownership of possessions, joint bank accounts, money transfers, and/or any other available proof of relationship.

An invitation to attend an interview DOES NOT GUARANTEE that an immigrant visa will be issued. Please do not dispose of any possessions or give up your employment until you have been issued an immigrant visa.

Please confirm your attendance at interview within 10 days from the date of this e-mail

I received the same email today and I also have EU passports, I guess that's the new thing they are doing. Only I need to bring different documentations. I wasn't expecting it also, so I will need to fly to Warsaw next month and I am not sure what to think: is it a good sign or bad. Your interview is earlier, but I also need to come at 8:00 in the morning.

Yes we have the same thing...have to fly to warsaw now aswell; a few hundred euros... it's a hassle...it's strange that they give such an ultimatum without ability to change interview dates.... good luck!

I cannot recall the timeline, but meds were done March of 2015, i guess they were registered sometime in April...timeline to move...???

Btw! I ended up using the same DPD courier service to get the CORP back to Latvia. They do pickups with no problem. You don't even need to scan and email any barcodes. They already come to the Embassy with a barcode sticker. And so much cheaper than UPS, DHL, or FedEx. Took 4 days, but I am not in a rush. So it is highly recommended!

I have a question in regards to RPRF. We didn't pay it upfront and received an email couple days ago from Warsaw visa office to pay the RPRF. As per their instructions, we must pay it within 30 days and send the payment receipt by mail to Mississauga. My question is, outside of sending this receipt by mail to Mississauga, can i also E-MAIL this RPRF proof of payment receipt to Warsaw visa office to perhaps speed up the process, or should i just follow their instructions and send it by mail only to Mississauga? Hello, all. I'm about to send our application for outland spousal sponsorship. My wife is Russian, so Warsaw will be the VO. I wonder what the actual processing times are now? I think our case is fairly routine, first marriage for both of us and no previous common law unions, i'm 27 and she is 24.

I hope to send our application in 2 or 3 weeks to cic Mississauga. I wish everyone success and a fast processing time.

I sent mine in on Feb. 11th and they received it on the 15th.

Yeah i saw that you got your PR right after RPRF. I have to say that it is pretty amazing to get a response from them so fast. Congratulations by the way)) I think i will try to E-MAIL Warsaw visa office a copy of my receipt as well will mail it to Mississauga.
