My file was transferred to Warsaw June 2nd. Sponsorship approved may 25 2015.

Found out by calling the centre and they told me I had to contact Warsaw for any further inquires.

What is the best way to contact the visa office in Warsaw?

The only way is email, CIC has a form you can use:

They are slow to respond, if they respond, but they do work fast for the most part.

The Warsaw processing times say that it takes 12 months. Can you tell me if it's likely possible to get the visa faster? If so, how much ttime does it take? Thank you for your help.

We applied in mid-September and landed on June 4th, although we got the visa at the beginning of May. So that's about 8 months total, including SA.

Last year it said 8 months for Warsaw. Then in may it became 9 then all of a sudden 12! If I applied in January them does the 12 months apply to me or 8?

The times posted are for the preceding 12 months, so technically, none of those apply to you.
The times went up because of the transferred files from Moscow. If you look at the spreadsheet, most applicants seem to be going through in 7-9 months, with a few going even faster.

about timeline: my files were transferred to Warsaw in January (after SA), so it took 5 months.

Congrats! That's good to know. I guess I should expect my application to wrap up in October (started in March).

I would say so, yes. Maybe September, if they speed up a little. Fingers crossed!

did anyone had smth like this before? do they say you are declined right away or do they ask for passport first please share anything

i had passport request first, then DM in eCAS, and about hmm 1-2 weeks later - mail with information that my papers are ready to be picked up in Warsaw or they can send it to me by courier. I ordered courier and expect delivery any day now

if you weren't asked for extra papers, and you didn't have interview, that decision is 99% positive.

Congrats about Decision Made Mertik,it is a good news.
Just after 4 days of Decision made on Ecas I recieved my passport request.
