Hello guys ,how long does it take after Ecas saying "Processing started on October 20 " When do you guys think I will get background check in process in my account? Thank you

It means they just got your application October 20th, its going to be a while until background check which is basically the last stage in the process before Decision Made and Passport Request, before that you will have to upload Police certificates, background information form and Medical before you move to the Background Check stage. So in all probably around 6 months or more before you get there,

Everything has been uploaded. medicals Passed, Police check and Schedule A uploaded. Oct 12 Was sent to Warsaw Visa Office. Everything uploaded before the transfer. Application submitted July 20. So 6 months from the day Warsaw receives it? Omg.

No, if you already completed all these steps then they should start your background check very soon.

Thanks for the reply! Yesterday I got a message saying I need to upload my Use of Representative which I already attached with my application. Do you have any idea why they are asking for it again. I am my husbands representative. I only submitted one with my application. And what do I Write for Section A question 3 " If you have already submitted your application, name of office where application was submitted. I submitted to Mississauga in the beginingg. Do I put Mississauga or Warsaw now?

I have no idea why they would want you to upload it again, as for the answer to that question, it should be Warsaw since that is the VO that is currently in possession of your application and processing it, Mississauga mostly just gathers up the documents before sending the application out to the VO.

Guys my ECAS showed 'in process' already 20 days ago but still no AOR2. How long did it take for you between 'in process' and the e-mail where they acknowledged you that they received it in Warsaw?

Hi , I got in process on Aug 23rd & AOR2 on Sept 13. Before AOR2 a line will be added in ECAS with a date they started processing your application.

What’s your GC Keys status regarding additional documents? Mine shows uploaded since Aug 10.

unfortunately our account is not linked, we communicate through email and post office (our lawyer), so for me ECAS is the only light (information) in this dark situation

Ohh ! Sponsor can call at this number ‭1 (888) 242-2100‬ from Canada ‭to hear pre-recorded GC Key status by choosing options 1 1 2 & then it will ask for file number then again 1.
