Anyone who applied for spousal sponsorship in 2017 & file transfered to Warsaw? Just want to know the processing time at Warsaw.

Hi,

We applied in January. Our files have been transfered to Warsaw in May. All they asked for was to send the original of the Police certificates ( as they only had the scans)..still waiting ...

Ohh! That's a quite long wait.. I thought Warsaw is not that busy & must be processing fast. But it doesn't look like from your profile.
Why it took so long to transfer to Warsaw? Usually the file is transferred after SA.When did you get your sponsorship approval? & wen did they ask you for original PCC.

Seems like not many people are applying through Warsaw, knowing how active this thread was in the past. I can't find much information about how long it takes to get decision made after background check goes in progress. But I know that this is a fast visa office.

As per previous posts, it took 2 to 3 weeks for DM after BG in process. I hope the trend remains the same. Do post here when you get DM. Good Luck!

Still the same thing - background check in progress. I also did not get any requests from them. I guess I have to wait longer.

I just found this thread now. Thank you all for sharing your experience.

Our application was received in Mississauga on Aug 08. We received an email that it was forwarded to Warsaw on Oct 04. Haven't heard anything since.

So I still need to receive a notice that it was received by the Warsaw office?
