Hi
We (2 adults + 2 small kids) looking for a 2 Br apartment near Thorn Hill, Markham or Richmond hill. It should be nearby indian community. Rent should not exceed $1000/pm. Any suggestions for house hunting in this area will be really appreciable.

Thank you

Sushma

With conditions like that no wonder nobody replied to you. Firstly Markham is predominantly Paki, Richmond Hill is predominantly Chinese. Indians has border disputes with both parties, unless you like living with Pakis and Chinese you might want to reconsider where you want to live. $1000 for a 2 bedroom is hard catch you might want to settle for a basement apartment.

Is there any area within 20 KM radius of thorn hill which has indian community?

Thanks
Sushma

The closest you'll get to Indian community will be Islington/Albion area

Why move to Canada and stay in an Indian community? Why not stay at home then? Integration starts when mingling with everyone, white Canadians included.
