In a hypothetical situation, I begin to ask myself about all this stable job tie to my home country...

What happen in the case that I have an offert of job, few time before I ask my visa to travel for 2 weeks... In this case they accept a letter from my future boss saying that I HAVE to return X date to start my work with them... ?

If you were the VO evaluating the application how strong do you think the pull would be for the visitor to go back to a job that they hadn't yet started? Always look at it from that perspective and you will get your answers. It would be a much stronger position if you waited to take your holiday for some time after you had been in that position and could show increased finances as a secondary benefit of permanent employment.

Can my boyfriend visit me here in Canada

I would like to know, would it be possible for my boyfriend to visit me here in Canada?.He's currently working as a Pastor at a Baptist Church in the Philippines. He's been working there for 5 years already. He wants to visit me here in Winnipeg for just around 2-4 weeks. He can't stay longer than that because they're only allowed for a month vacation in a year. Also his whole family is back there in the Philippines and he has no relatives here in Canada. In terms of finances, he actually don't save money at any banks. All of his savings were placed in an insurance company there. He has been saving for more than four years already. I personally have a full time work here at Winnipeg, so I can also accommodate his stay here for 2-4 weeks. Do you think our case has a higher chances of getting a tourist visa for him? Thanks. :)

If he says he is visiting his girlfriend in Canada, the VO would see that as strong ties to Canada. He can simply say he is visiting a friend in Canada and you can write a letter of Invitation saying that you want your friend to visit you and you will pay for his visit since he doesn't have money saved in a bank account.

In addition to the Letter of Invitation, he should submit:
1. Document proving he is a pastor at a church and will have to return to his responsibilities after his stay in Canada.
2. Document proving where his money is saved.
3. Letter of Explanation detailing why he wants to come to Canada, how important his Pastor work is to him which is why he will return to the Philippines, his family ties in Philippines, etc.

What if I ask my aunt for example to make the letter of invitation..Can she says that she just wants to invite the pastor (my boyfriend) to come and visit here in Canada (without us telling that the pastor is her niece boyfriend). Would that be much better? Because they wouldn't think that he's visiting me (his girlfriend) here..If that's better, what would be the documents needed?.

But along with that is my question, do we really have to prove that my aunt is in close relationship with the person she's inviting?.

You don't have to prove that a relationship is close to invite someone, but there has to be an explanation of how they know each other and the reason for his visit otherwise app could be rejected under "purpose of visit".

Okay..So what if I just tell in my invitation letter that he (my boyfriend) is my Pastor in the Philippines at our church (which is indeed true) and I want to invite him here to have a vacation for a month, would that be convincing to the officer?.

We can show a proof of his employment at our church there..And at the same time our church can also give me a proof of my membership there..Would that be better?

Thanks for your answers to my questions..

I am not an expert, but if your intention is toward a permanent relationship in the future, be careful that the information you submit doesn't sound like misrepresentation.
