Want to travel but my documents expired

I applied for bridging work permit over a month ago with no reply and my visa expired. There is a death in my family and I want to go home but will I be able to return to Canada any time soon ?

Current processing times for BOWPs are ~4 months, so you won't get it in time when you come back from your travels. You can find more information here:

Thank you so much for the link n the reply, i didnt kno i could continue working under implied status. But i am confused about one thing still , can i re enter canada without a visa under implied status ?

You can continue working, but not re-enter.
