Want to renew my PRC Card

Hi,
My PRC card going to expire on January 2018.During these 5 years period I lived with my Husband and son both are Canadian citizen in Qatar where my husband work there.
My question is that can I apply for renewal of my PRC Card?

You can only do it in Canada and you will also gave to pick up the card the new card in Canada.

It means I will not apply for renewal from here in Qatar or any other country outside Canada

And if you need to fly back to Canada once your card has expired you will need to apply for a PRTD in order to board a plane.

Its better to apply for a PR Travel Document visa. I live in Riyadh Saudi, and I applied for my PRTD and got it within 3 weeks. They even gave me a 2 year multi visit PRTD although I asked for a single entry!
Make sure you fill all the supplementary documents (that they ask for only in the GCC)
