Want to get visas for my wife for Canada

Dear All

Please help me in getting visas for my wife for Canada

I got my student visa from India. 7 days after that I married my girl friend. she applied for visitors visa and got rejected.
I am Indian and she is Iranian. We both are in relation from past 4 years.
Now I am in Canada as a student. its been a month now in Vancouver started my MBA.
My wife has got the student visa for US and by mid march she is going to University of California Irvine for her certification.
Its just 3 months certification. after that we dunno what should we do.
I want to bring my wife to Canada as soon as possible.
I don't know under which category should she apply.
I don't know what to do.
Please help.

Spouses of international students are eligible for open work permits. She can apply for that. It's usually valid for the same length of time as your study permit.

if I apply for her owp what are her chances that she will get it
and how much time does take to get her the visas

Send her a copy of your study permit. With that and your marriage certificate, she can apply for her TRV to join you in Canada. There is no guarantee she will get it though. If they think she is likely to overstay in Canada, they will refuse. If she gets the TRV, she can apply for the OWP once she gets to Canada.

I dunno whether trv and visitors visa come under same category.
one of the lawyer told me she can go for owp directly.
I am not able to trust that thing.
is the lawyer correct??

All temporary visas requires proof that the person will not overstay. Same with TRV and OWP that way.

what kind of proof should she present to gain confidence that she will not overstay.
she had a property in her name back home in iran and 40K $ in her account.
apart from that how should she gain confidence that she will not overstay
ne idea??

It is hard to say. She needs to show family ties and that she wants to go back to Iran etc. but now she has a husband who is from India and who is in Canada already. Is she actually planning on going back to Iran? Maybe she should try to emphasize that she will be where you are so if you go back to India, she will too.
