since then , no news from cic
Recently my friends got their MR , who applied after me

i applied via an canadian consultant as a Representative..

Usually it takes time u just have to wait and you could apply directly with Embassy no need for Representative

IMHO, it wil take arround upto 3months...hope soon strike wil end,then situation wil get better...possibly within 2months
