Is there anyone whose medical expired and got extended. If yes how long it took for IRCC to extend it? AOR - 3 June. Everything passed on 27 Jan. Medical expired on 07 may. CEC inland.

Yes, All stages passed on 27 Jan'21. I can even see COPR number in my GCMS notes and that my file is in Print Queue. but now medical expired on 07 May so I guess have to wait for another 3 months to get my medical extended or request for new one.

Does it take up to 3 months now to extend medical? I think it’s faster now. Have you called to enquire?

OMG it takes another 3 months even though you passed everything. Did you call the IRCC and mention about the COPR number in your GCMS?

Yes, they know about that. I contacted my local MP and he did enquiry and said the same thing, everything is good and my medical is expired so have to wait for COPR until its extended. I have went through different threads and what I got is that its taking 2-3 months for IRCC to extend medical.

No, I haven't called. It just I have looked at so many different threads for ones whose medical expired and all of them got there medical extended after about 3 months.

Wow. Bad news. My medical expires next week. Add 3 months to 12 months waiting already. I give up

3 months medical extension timeline is ridiculous. IRCC has already delayed our applications too much.

One the other side, if IRCC says that it will take 3 months from now i.e. on 20 August 2021 you'll get the final decision I will still be okay with it and will wait for it, however, this current uncertainty is so stressful. They haven't given much approvals recently..

I agree, I dnt knw why they are taking so long for medical extension. It is not our fault that they did not looked at file before. But I Guess nothing we can do except wait.
