What means demand Draft? and how is it done??

Demand draft or in other words u can call it BANK DRAFT, just contact any local bank in your city.
They will guide you and prepare the same for you. Remember , it should be in CAD and addressed to " THE RECEIVER GENERAL FOR CANADA".

your wait time from medicals to passport request was fast...good for you, wish we will receive our PPR soon. :)

hello everyone,
i see there is lot of anxiety after doing ur medicals, i just wanted to give my exp with LA office.
medicals sent on 25th aug
additional documents sent on 13th sep
PPR 23rd sep
passports sent on 29th sep.
waiting for my passports back.
My ecas was in-process till yesterday and only today OCT 12 it shows "decision made"
so my only advice would be "be patient" and dont worry of ur e-cas status.. papers would be moving
all the best for all of you

done with medicals and rprf last sept 28 and until now theres no update on my ecas. no need to worry...

My medicals had reached the VO on 15th Sept, so till waiting for the updates.
Its a normal process of SECURITY CLEARANCE of 2-3 months.

Once that gets over, an update of "medical received" will reflect in our E-CASE.

I sent my medicals to London on 30 July, that is when they were received by them according to my tracking number. Then my medical had to be sent to Ottawa because our file is being processed there as part of a faster processing to help the london backlog. Since then, I know that my medicals are with Health Canada because Ottawa informed me on 16 September... still waiting for passport request after nearly 3 months, getting very anxious.

My timeline.
Applied to London: SEP 2007
Doc Request: FEB 2010
Docs Sent: MAY 2010
Med Rqst: JUL 2010
Med Sent: JUL 2010
Ppt Rqst: Waiting

You can request for CAIP notes.
You will come to know the reason of delay.

Re-sent Police Clearance Certificate in July 2010 (been 3 months now) after medicals.

Hello
all

Same here! No updates at all.
Thanks

For those who were able to get tracking numbers from your DMP, did you see who signed for the package?

According to DHL tracking, ours were signed for/received by a certain FEATHERSTONE.

Just thought it might be interesting to know... :)

What are CAIPS notes that everyone talks about?
HOw do you request them and what does that tell you?

How to order your immigration file notes CAIPS

If you are overseas, someone else (a Citizen, Permanent Resident, or someone physically present in Canada) will have to obtain them for you under the Access to Information Act. This can be a relative, friend or sponsor, or a commercial service. For this there is a $5 fee (more if you use a commercial service), and you will have to provide consent. Forms for this are available on the Citizenship and Immigration Canada website.
Forms

Companies providing CAIPS ordering services
If you are outside Canada and do not have a friend or relative inside Canada who can order your CAIPS notes for you, you may consider using one of these commercial services. Please note, if you are in Canada and can order your notes yourself, or have a friend or relative who can do it for you, that will cost only $5. All of these commercial services cost more.
