We just received our visa yesterday! Thank you, God! It is exactly 35 days after we sent our passports.

Here is the update of my timeline.

Jan 2010 Medical Request
Jun 8, 2010 PPR thru e-mail
Jun 16, 2010 Sent PP to CEM
Jul 6, 2010 Ecas changed to DM
Jul 21, 2010 Visa Received
Aug 9, 2010 PDOS
Sep 25, 2010 Plan departure to Winnipeg

God bless our new journey ahead. For those who are still waiting for their visa, just keep on praying and it will come in HIS given time. God bless us all.

Hi, we applied for Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program under General Stream and we are also under PV2 category. Let's hope and pray that your visa will arrive before your PDOS schedule. Mauuna ka pa pala sa amin kasi Aug 9 kami.

Hello to all members,
Im a new member in this very informative forum, it gives us guide and hope since waiting is the most stressful stressors in one's life.
Anyway,I'm an LPN here in Edmonton,Alberta and I'm about to receive my visa DM appeared on my E-CAS today.And,my agency who is processing my papers which is Mercan advised us to do our landing by crossing Montana then come in.I remember Raffy did his landing already and was currently here in Edmonton too.So,how was your landing experience did you go there by using a private car?My husband's work permit would be expiring on Aug 14 that is why we have to do our landing ASAP.Actually,he was advised by his employer to stop working until he will recieve his new SIN.Raffy,did it took you oneday to finish all your landing and SIN application?please give me some advise.

Hi folks,
it been a while i came to the house
how has it been and guess some had gotten their visa
pls frineds i got an E-mail from the embassy this morning stating my name and address and a letter stating
this refers to your application for permanent residence in canada which was received at this office 10-05-2010
processing time
applications for PR in canada in category under which you have applied require 3-6month...........
interview
section 15 of immigration and refugee protection act authorizes an officer to proceed with an examination where a person makes application for PR.......

please i would like to know did anyone get this mail
and what is the next step?
please i need your reply.
