Waiting for PR Card after landing - add your case here

It will definitely take longer than a week for them to send yours. I landed on October 1st, submitted the photos on Nov 2nd and I'm still waiting. It's been more than a week that they said my card was sent for production.

I might have to cancel my vacation plan as I had my flight booked for December 13th and I don't think I will get the PR card on time.

For me the agent told that, they are processing the photo resubmissions on Nov 23. If they have sent it for production. It is not going to take more than a day. May be the agent is reading the update on the file, which may not have been updated. So you must receive it any time this week or next week. But one thing which i am not clear from your message is, you are saying they are processing Nov 2, but the agent told me very clearly that they are processing the resubmissions made on Nov 23 (atleast the photos that reached them on Nov 23) it is a little confusing. But we will come to know shortly

can anyone please tell that how much average time cic taking for PR (Paper File).... cic received my file in may 2016 so far nothing yet,,,, recently they have asked updated 'Schedule A' form... I have already provided two weeks ago.... what you guys think how much i have to wait more (I know on their website its saying 16 months) but I heard that most of the people getting medical requests around 8 to 10 months ....

Just an update. My PR card is being sent out today by Canada post. Guys, no matter whether you are in Canada or not, just be sure you are sending as per the specifications. In my case, my wife and kids are back home, and i wrote in the back of the one of the photos the photo studio address back from home, still they clarified that they have sent it today. So no problem where you take the photos if it is fitting their specification, it would come to you. Hoping i will receive it this week end or early next week. I should thank the lady last week who gave me the info, because 2 other times i tried i got some irresponsible answers. But i know they are not taking effort to give the real picture, so my question was not about resubmission, it was only i told her that i landed on Oct 4th but yet to receive my PR card. Then she verified the details and put me on hold and came back to me asking if i had to resend and when did i do it. Then she went back again and came back saying Nov 23 resubmissions are being treated now, probably your photo reached 2 days later, therefore i woudl recommend to call next week to know the status. Today and i called and came to know that they it by canada post today.

Do you guys know if i can call CIC on her behalf and ask about the status of her PR card? or should i wait for the PR card. we think that the pictures might not be accurate and havent received anything from IRCC so far. she landed on 19th November. Can you suggest what to do >?

GUYS as expected got my PR CARD TODAY!!!! Atlast the wait is over after 5 years. I have the CARDs now for all the members of my family. It took 2 days for it to arrive from Nova Scotia to Montreal. Wish all the best for everyone here.

Your wife has to call them to understand the status. As a principal applicant you or your wife will receive the email. The email will state what to do for the prinicpal applicant. For the dependants they will send regular mail via Canada Post if you had published the address in Canada in the IRCC site. This post will contain envelop for the dependants to send the photos back. What i did was, used one envelop since i received 3 for the dependants and sent all the photos (4 of us) using the same envelop. The only problem here is though the principal applicant mail was sent on Nov 8th we received the dependants post requesting photos by normal mail thru canada post on Nov 21st which is a 2 weeks delay.

I have landed on 20th Oct 2016 for a short landing. My Pr Card was approved on 1st December 2016 and mailed on 6th December. I havent received them as yet and still waiting.

How long it takes to be mailed to Toronto.

I have raised a CSE.

Anything else can I do. I am a bit worried.

I finally received my PR card today!!! It probably arrived last week as I hadn't checked my mailbox for a few days. My card was issued on Dec 6, almost 4 months after I resubmitted my photos. It is the best Christmas gift for me this year!
