Just wanted to share my timeline below:

Landed: May 21, 2016
PR Card received: July 20, 2016

My sister family landed on 14 May and still not receive their cards
Every time when they call CIC … they asked them to wait till the end of this month.
While I can see some app here landed after 14 may receive their card
Anyone having the same issue.

Hi Guys,

Finally wait is over. It took 4 months. Just wanted to share my timeline below:

Landed: March 26
Photo Request: may 16 (through email)
CIC Received Photo: may 23
PR Card dispatched: July 18
Now, I am just waiting for it to arrive on mailbox. Hoping to receive it within week
I hope all will get thier soon

Just wondering, is anyone with photo resubmission in April still waiting for their PR card? Or it is just me

My resubmitted photos were received on 22 April 2016. Since then I am just waiting. It been on five months since I Landed on 18th February 2016. Calling to call center doesn't help with any information other than disappointing advice to wait further for one or two moths !
PR Card is the name of deep breathe for me.

My wife and I landed on 17th May, 2016

I received my card yesterday. When I called CIC last week they told me it was dispatched on 12th July,2016. When we are asking about my wife's card, they are not telling anything. Its already more than 60 days. What we should be doing ? Today we called again, they told us to call next month. We are feeling so frustrated. I even asked the CIC agent, is there any problem? Is everything complete on the file, they are not telling anything.

I ve received my PR card today. dispatched on 30 june, delivered at my friend's home on 15th july, i ve collected it from him today

Yes. But while return to Canada you may require PRTD or PR card.

I get to know that card was dispatched on July 4 but i haven't received as yet. Please advise is it normal to take that much long to deliver card in Bramption.

I along with my wife landed on April 30 2016. We are still waiting for the PR card .

The call center is not helping at all.
Is there any email for CIC to check the PR cards.
Did anyone tried to send an email to them asking about PR card and they respond.

Yes. But while return to Canada you may require PRTD or PR card.

If I am from a visa exempt country. Does that make a difference?

Then you can travel with your passport.
