has anyone from may gotten PR card yet ?
And i read some of u guys telling about the date it was mailed .....how to know when its mailed ?

hope we all get it soon
take care.
Hi,

Call 1-888-242-2100

You will hear various options. I followed the below

1. Call the number
2. Press 2 for following up on PR card
3. Then from the next set of options, press 3 for PR card
4. Then press 2 for new PRs
5. Finally press 0 to talk to CIC agent

Wait time on the phone is usually 5-10 mins. Keep in hand your UCI number. They will also ask you personal questions to confirm your identity.

Hopefully you get a good CIC agent.

Maybe I'm too negative/critical, but I am inclined to think that the cock-up happened on the CIC end, rather than CP. It's more likely that the agents don't have the correct information (or don't know how to interpret the ones they have) than have CP misplace or take outlandishly long time to deliver the cards. Maybe the PR cards were done on the day they said they were mailed on... but take into account sorting, addressing and mailing and it probably takes a week or more on top of that. Mind you, this is just an opinion.

For the statistics enthusiasts - I've landed on May 12th and the agent I spoke to yesterday said my card hasn't been processed yet. She added that I should call beginning of August if I don't get it by then. So there's that...

I think the same, it can't be CP as I am receiving mails on-time from different locations in Canada. CIC Agents are not providing accurate information, I think they only give an estimation to get us off the line!
Interesting thing is that my ECAS is still in Decision Made status even though the agent said the card was mailed!

One other thing, I think people stop visiting the forums as soon as they receive their cards, they don't bother to inform others of their happy endings, they just wanted to share their anxiety and leave us with that!

Cp has resumed operations, so that makes sense they received their COPR. It just depends when it was mailed. Although I sort of suspect that CIC is not telling the whole truth.

CoPR is sent via Xpresspost which is trackable and has a certain time limit. PR card is sent via general post which is not trackable and doesn't have any time limit.

COPR is sent by regular mail, or at least mine was sent by regular mail.

I called IRCC, agent told me my card ready to mail out on July 8, and mailed out on July 11. She said if I do not receive on July 31, call them again. I landed on May 14

This is what going on with pr cards. CIC Never provided PR cards to CP to be delivered to applicants after the week of June 13-17. CIC Agents may or may not know that PR cards (in bulk mail) was never recieved by CP for mail Delivery even if it has been flagged in CIC system that cards were send out in 2nd or 3rd week of June I think. Seems like Not even a single applicant recieved a PR card after jun 24th. I am afraid there is only one way to get PR Card is by filling out a declaration form again. Cuz I think the cards have either been lost or not traceable by CIC, yet were never sent to CP for delivery.

Between I've not missed a single letter from CP since beginning of last month and I get mail pretty much every day. So no backlog or anything for CP, technically they never stopped working since disruption of postal services news r going on.

Please note sending out or processing of PR cards is never a priority for CIC, since the general rule to perception of PR status is either the intend of applicant to stay in Canada or apply for a travel document to return to country if have to travel outside. But the process is broken and PR card delivery to CP is not on top of the list. I landed on April 19th of this year.

I could not agree with you more. We all should update the other forum members (who have been super helpful) as soon as we get our PR Cards.
I am sure there are some people (who use to be on this forum), who might have received their PR Cards this week and they never bother to update us all.
