Thanks Stealth Assassin! Appreciate the promptness. Just a quick follow up. Was this trip you took fairly recent? Just wondering if there were any changes recently.

I took the trip in April this year.

PR card received Tuesday June 21, 2016

I called the morning of the 22, before I had checked the mail, and they said it was mailed out on Friday June 17th, then I checked the mail ;D

It's over, for now.... Praise be. All the best everyone!!!!

Thats 69 days in total to recieve PR card. Probably 64 days processing + 5 days delivery time.

Same here, landed in YYZ in mid-April still havent received my PR card. No request for new photos either.

Update:

I just called CIC hotline, the agent said they are experiencing some delays but my PR card is processing fine and no new photos needed.

It should be finalized by end of this week and may take a week for delivery.

I am planning to land early Aug. It will be short landing. I intend to give UPS mailbox address for receipt of PR card and understand UPS can forward it to my overseas address (UAE) through DHL.

Has anyone done it? If yes please share the experience. I have heard that PR cards can not be sent overseas and it is illegal and if PR cards are caught then the individual (PR) may be banned. Appreciate any guidance, tips. I did approach CIC and Customs and awaiting their input. So I will share it meantime.

I have query about forms:

1> We need to submit "Application form for permanent resident card" during the immigration right? so that it will be good to get sooner.
2> do we need to take empty/non filled forms of application form for PR card, goods declaration forms?
3> will they accept print out of filled application forms or we need to write it manually(pen)?
4>is it OK to take the half filled printout of the forms and rest can be filled manually at Immigration office?

Please guide me on this, i am getting confused, travelling on 30th June..

He said they should mail me the PR card in 6 weeks of my landing. I landed on June 20th, 2016. Applied under CEC on October 2nd, 2014.

You don't need to submit any application.
You will be contacted by CIC if you are required to.
