Hi Kiranmayi,

You can use Canada Post Priority service to send the same envelope.

It's tracking enabled which will let you know the successful delivery.
My buddy posted for me from Toronto and it costs only $2.50. It was delivered in 2 business days.

If you want to have signature confirmation, you can post it to the courier address as given below. Service cost may vary.

Just got PR cards for me and my wife.
We landed on March 22 at Coutts border, so it took 56 days.
Finally this long journey is over. I am so relieved.

HI Guys

I needs an urgent response from you people. I landed on 7th Nov 2015 and received a request for Photo resubmission on 27th Feb 2016 . I sent my photo's on 10th March and received by CIC on 13th March . Its been almost 2 months passed after resubmission and still I havent received my PR card . I am calling regularly to CIC but everytime I am getting an answer that it is under process . I am wandering may be they missed my photo's by chance . in this forum i am seeing majoriy people who sent their photo's received by MIKE but in my case it is received by some other although I sent my photo on the same address as mentioned on the letter .

Is their any way we can call Sydney office directly , I am calling CIC and the feedback is same . Also when they dispatch the ststus of application will be change or CIC rep cant tell be anything about my application


Guys please advise what to do , I am planning to resubmit the photos but any other advise will be appretiacted .

Nothing to worry dear..the same situation has happened in the case of my son PR card. His photos were received on March 09 but no PR card yet.On contacting CIC, representative advised to send photos again. We told him that we have the tracking information that photos received.He said its upto you people but my sincere advice is to send again.We followed his advice and sent again....Let us see now

IRCC took 38 days for my PRC to dispatch and 5 days to get delivered. Few members in this forum got their cards in 30 days.
Some officers prioritize photo resubmission applications whereas few put them back in the queue and it's treated as new application.

So, I think we can't really predict the exact timelines. We can only hope for the best !!

Landed in November
Requested new pics in April - sent them in April - not updated on ecase though
we are still waiting

Well over 6 months since he landed in Canada - November 2 - it took 5 months for cic to ask him for new pics...

How do they ask for the re-submission of photos? Do they send out MAIL or EMAIL request?

If they send out EMAIL request...what email address they will use?

We just landed yesterday. We have planned our US vacation on July. If I'm case we haven't receive our PR cards yet can we request for a re-entry visa? Are we allowed to leave Canada without PR Cards. TIA

Hi,

Usually, it'll be a mail posted to your Canadian address.

Sometimes when you inquire with Customer Service about your current status of your PRC, you may get photo re-submission request to an email id which is registered with IRCC.

There were few cases like people spoke to customer service and were advised to send photos by agent.
After sending them to IRCC, they got formal mail to their Canadian address to resubmit the photos. Hope it helps.

Hi,

You can leave Canada for US vacation without PR cards but make sure you don't use commercial transport (Train, Flight & Ferry) to return to Canada.
COPR is sufficient to re-enter when you use your own vehicle. You can see similar scenarios in this very post if you go through in detail.

Hi guys, i m in dilemma,

My case: photo resubmission request:31 march
cic received my pix on 6th april,
card dispatched 16 may

I called cic today n dey told me dat the card has been dispatched on 16 th may, n unfortunately i m in india on the very same day as per indian time i applied PRTD. Now is there any way to get PRTD refund n cancel application in between or which one should i use while landing - card or PRTD.

What should i do. This is like bad luck n total dilemma.

Help plz
