Waiting for PR Card after landing - add your case here

Guys, current waiting time is 49 days. Remember when we landed it showed about 40 days in late September and then increased to more than 100 days? I hope we're not going to wait another 150 days (and got another photo request...haha)

photo retake reached Sydney on 15th Feb , no news yet, any idea when can I expect the cards, when asked agents said no expected date can be told.......

My photos were reached feb 24. No news. I called CIC call center, got nice person .. he checked my file and there is no update on it. Not sure how long my PR journey is.. applied PR in june 2014

Hey Guys,
May it has been replied hundred times before. I need to travel within next couple of weeks. How long it takes to get a travel document while I am waiting for the PR card, not to mention it has been almost six months I have been waiting for the card.

PRTD processing time : cic website stated 30 days

My timeline PRTD :
Request Urgent process - Attached air tickets and hotel booking letters

Feb 16 : Send out from Canada UPS
Feb 17 : Rec'd by VAC LA (UPS record)
Feb 19 : AOR by CIC (email)
Feb 20 : Request further info by VAC (email)
Feb 22 : Send out info from Canada by UPS
Feb 23 : Rec'd by VAC LA (UPS record)

Mar 04 : PRTD send out from VAC LA
Mar 07 : PRTD in hands Canada

Got our PR Card on March 9th in the mail.

Landed January 19th - Calgary

No request for new pictures.

Ecas was not updated -Regular mail - Canada post.

I am inside canada. So should be Ottawa CPC

You should apply the PRTD outside of Canada, your next destination's VAC.
If you will take the flight back at London airport, you have to send your application to London UK.

CPC send out on March 04 (Fri) from Sydney NS
I rec'd it on March 11 (Fri) in B.C

A standard Canada Post postage paid envelop in white
A small barcode on the back : PRC3

my relative got letter regarding my new photographs for PR card but presently i m outside canada. can i send new photographs taken outside canada or is there any condition regarding photograph must be taken in canada pls rpl soon.i shall be thankful to u....

there is no condition, even one guy has received card. he sent pic from outside.

For the photo specification, mentioned during PPR request from London visa office, there was a requirement to use "matte paper" for the photo.

Not able to find any such requirement in the new photo specification for PR card.

Can we use glossy type for the new photo request for PR card ?
