Waiting for PR Card after landing - add your case here

Hi all,

I am the one who waiting for my wife PR card. Landed 28th Sept, 2015 to Vancouver airport. Yesterday called to CIC and they check to my file. The lady said, they already send notes and now under production. And I ask her to check any photo requirement or anything wrong, and she said nothing wrong at the moment. And I should wait until my wife PR card receive because they already send notes on 17 FEB for production team.

But according to Kinji84 who landed 30th Sept 2015, last time also CIC say send to production and now they request for photo.

What kind of job CIC is doing? not under stand at all. coming 28th-Feb-2016 , total waiting time for my wife PR card becomes 5 months.

Landed 28th Sept 2015 at Vancouver, me and my baby PR Cards already received and still waiting for my wife PR card. Seniors and friends any idea and advice. Thanks.

Did they tell you before that it is in production? because as per opinion of experts on this forum, once they say it is in production, it means card has been approved and photo is fine.Why i am writing this because i have concern, i also landed in Sept 29 and none of my family including me have got PR card yet, but they do told us on calling last week that it is in production. Dear Seniors please speak.It is very important for us.

I received my card on Feb 22nd. But my child's card didn't arrive. Please share if you had a similar case and got it later. Or Did you called CIC to reissue?

You can request a detailed report of your application with just only 5 dollars. I ordered a report once in a while during my FSW process so that I can know why the case halted or delayed.

Just finished call with cic and lady told me they had looked into my file today and there is a new Photo request. I have landed on sept 30 and been waiting so long. I am so pissed of now

now, my questions are

(1) Do i have to wait to get letter from cic or i can send beforehand to cic?
(2) I am in USA, so where do I have to sent new Photos?
(3) What docs do i have to attach with my photos?
(4) Does Anyone have taken pics in USA? Where can i get pics?

You can request email. In my case when I called cic the agent asked if i received the letter or not, when i said no, he immediately send an email - request for resubmission of photos.

I know someone landed in Vancouver around mid-October has already got his card. The problematic time frame is late September and maybe early October.

I got the same issue as well landed in mid nov at peace arch (Vancouver)and called 2 weeks ago and asked if I got the letter for photos resubmission. I didn't receive any Mail and they email me immediately. I resubmitted immediately. Donno how long it takes

Hello friends,

Myself Akash landed in Canada on last Oct 20, 2015 and applied for PR card at the Airport and came back to India on Oct 26 2015....I called so many times to CIC in the month of Jan and Feb, and yesterday I received Photos resend request along with form 5455...

I am bit concerned as I am in India these days and need to send my photos where I need to provide Studio address at the back of photos (as required for PR Card Processing)..does CIC make any issue if they received my stamped photos with Indian address not Canadian...

Is any one aware any concerns /issues created by CIC in the past on the cases which is similar to me..?

I got mine after resubmitting new photos, but as a I said a few page earlier, the card has been issued with my old photo and not the new one:

Hi everyone,

Just received my PRC today. (After 204 days!! ) I wanna share my timeline:

• Landed on August 1st, 2015, at Lacolle border, QC.
• Requested to retake my photo on December 14th (Received a letter).
• Sent new photos on December 20th by regular mail.
• Received an email on February 16th, from Permanent Resident Card Centre – Sydney that my PRC application was received by CIC on August 1st.
• Found the PRC on my mailbox today with my OLD photo on it (The one that was attached to COPR)!! :-X. The card has been issued on February 20th 2016.
