Waiting for PR Card after landing - add your case here

Well, they received my son's photos 13 days ago. Still no card. Someone in this forum got his PR card within 11 days after resubmitting the photos.

Great! Just received a letter from them for my wife saying that they need her photographs again (it took them nearly 4 months to figure that out)! Nothing for me or my daughter yet! Don't know if it is a good or a bad news!

By the way, how much more time do they take after resubmitting the photos? Is it quick or does it take forever as usual?

landed on 20 oct 2015...got PRC on 02 feb 2016.

Wife did not receive it. On calling CIC, she informed that Wife's phot needs to be resent....

My PR Card arrived today!!!!!!!!

October 28th I landed!!! so 98 days wait for the card.

I am so Glad this is all finally over, It's been one hell of an Journey.

Just called CIC ,call waiting time was only a min..and for first time I had spoke with unbelievable nice lady .. She inform me that card are approved and sened for a printing .. Anyone know when I should expect my PRC in my mail box ? Landed in Vancouver , home - Kelowna .

I got my card this evening, no news on my wife's card. Landed on Oct 17th at Vancouver airport.

for people who landed in November did you try to call the call center to know when the card will be delivered ?

Hi guys,

I had called CIC yesterday and the agent told me that a letter for photo request has been sent on 23-Jan.
My questing is I am presently outside Canada (i came back 10 days after landing). Can I take photos from here (UK) and send it to them for PR card processing. P.S. photographer address (UK) should be mentioned at the back of photo.
OR
should I apply for a PRTD from UK. (Will it have any impact if i had for FSW from India, but applying for PRTD from UK)?

Yesterday I made my 7th or 8th call to CIC. (Yes, I did say that I won't be calling again.)

They told me my application is in final stage(last time they said so) and is waiting to be printed. However, they're expecting a small delay. My card should be sent out by 2/17. I usually do not take the date seriously because the only good news is that they tell you your card is delivered, while other messages are pointless.
