Waiting for PR Card after landing - add your case here

Hi,

I landed at Lansdowne (Thousand Islands Bridge) on Oct 5, 2015, and I received my PR Card on Jan 26, 2015. I enjoyed the help you guys provide in this forum, and I wish you'll the best.

I would like to note that they did not take a photo from me while landing i.e. they took my photo from the one I had on the COPR. However, I got the COPR in early Feb, 2015, so that photo was a bit old and also according to their previous specifications. I'm surprised that they did not ask me for a new photo.

Next, since I'm not in Canada (but in the US), I had my PR Card delivered to a UPS store. (I rented out a mailbox and had it delivered there.) I have not yet got the PR card in my hand, but the UPS store owner mailed it to me yesterday. (He told me that it felt like there was a credit card in the envelope, and today my package cleared both the Canadian export and the US customs.). So, those who don't have friends in Canada can look at renting a UPS mailbox.

Finally, I would like to note that ECAS does not seem to have any mention that my PR card was either processed or even mailed out. So I think it is useless for those of us who are waiting.

I would have liked to put my details in the Google Spreadsheet, but when I got to the place to enter my information (https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1wq_wDykSAvVuaG2Lu6XNH322PWpzVGoGUEtTG8Cr9Po/viewform?pref=2&pli=1&edit_requested=true) I get something that makes no sense: JKB * Edmonton Int. Airport * ??? Feel free to put my information there.

Congrats bro as for diplomatru thing when i said said I was refering to several incidents and thats regardless if he is helping or not, he was being rude to the members.
Anyway whe moved on this issue and we are tying to help each other and benefit from each other's exeprience.

OK Guys
Got PR card today.
Landed on 5th October.
13th January got letter for resubmission of photo at local CIC office.
Submitted at local office on 15th January .
Got PR back in 11 days after photo resubmission .

That's nice. I landed on 5th September, got letter to resubmit photo to CIC, photo reached Sydney, NS on 7th December and I am still waiting for my card.

Somebody received edit permission to the tracking form and spreadsheet screwed the form.

I would like to give a shoutout to Diplomatru for helping me throughout this process, particularly in the initial part of my application, then the FBI PCC, and finally the landing.

Fawzietrim , unfortunately, I disagree with you here. Diplomatru has certainly helped me.

They are working with a "lightning speed". On December 10, I was told my card has been sent to production. I was waiting and waiting and today called again. The agent said it has not left the production yet. Wow. More wait. Good luck guys. Patience is the ultimate key while applying for PR in Canada.

I was instructed to mail my photos to the Case Processing Centre at the Sydney office...

Oddly, my spouse who is the Principal Applicant didn't get it. Has this happened to anyone else and how long did you have to wait?

You might receive it in few days, if not call them they might request photos for her

Hi ggar,

Me and my baby already received PR card and my wife PR card is not yet received. Still waiting. Agent told me my wife PR card is ready around 3rd week of Feb, 2016. Hope can get around that time. We landed to Vancouver on 28th Sept, 2015. Good Luck.

I sent my photos in october on their request. it was received on oct 30 and when ever I call, they still say application in progress
don't know whats happening with my card

landed oct 9th at the Peace Arch border, received PR cards today!
