landed oct 9th at the Peace Arch border, received PR cards today!

Howdy I can answer this, been through it myself. ICBC will give a temporary paper license when you show valid government ID along with COPR, however they will put an immigration hold on a card being issued until you have a PR card. the paper licenses only have validity for at max a few months...

Received COPR Friday morning, 2 hours later was at the border at the Peace Arch and have landed as a PR. Border was fine, couple of standard questions, 20 mins later returned with signed forms and 2 souvenir flags and said welcome to Canada.

actually Ottawa responded to the email, COPR arrived this morning! We are now landed PR's after driving to the border at lunch!

return tracker activated today (sent oct 2nd)

ive been advised that the COPR has gone out in the mail today, they stated even though the tracker may not have been activated at collection by Canada post (apparently this is due to the amount of outgoing mail) it is on the way.

no they send back the Certificate of Permanent Residency. This is what you take to the border when you land.

hi my application got approved and closed today and I am now waiting for COPR in the mail. I'll be flagpoling at Douglas/Peace Arch as soon as it comes. Ive done it before to renew work permits and it wasn't much of a problem with the border people. just answer the questions. PR cards...

Did you check MYCIC? Mine arrived October 2nd and MYCIC became closed & approved today.

not yet hopefully they send it out in today's mail collection! no way i'll receive it before the long weekend but least im closed/approved.

I sent my passports on the 26th September, arrived 2nd October (thanks Canada post so called 2 business day xpress). Anyway, mycic has gone to closed and approved this morning.

i sent mine on Monday xpressmail with Canada post - still not there - not impressed !

Just received PPR today going to send tomorrow, hopefully Ottawa will get it Tuesday

JUST GOT PPR!!!!!! email came at 7.25pm PST!!!!!

Local MP contacted them on my behalf.
