Waiting for PR Card after landing - add your case here

Just called CIC agent and she told me that I will receive my wife PR card on 3rd week of feb 2016. More and more delay. Still not yet print out yet. Good luck everyone.

I have got same answer, Did they opened a case and sent to printing office? In my case they have opened a case on dec 9, so till 90 days they cannot do anything.

Hi guys,

I would like to have your input on this please:

I received the email on photo retake request today. The photo requirement is that I have to write the date, name and address of photography studio on the back of 1 photo.

I am gonna go to retake my photo tomorrow. My question is, if I state the address of the studio in my country, they will know that I am outside of Canada now. Is there any problem with the processing of my PR card if they know I am not in Canada?

Please help me to address this as I landed on Oct 13th and have been waiting for the PR card ever since. I am really worried now.

Does anyone applied for travel document in India recently? Want to know approximate time to get it?

PR Cards received today for myself, wife and Son. But card for daughter is still not received. Called CIC and according to them it was mailed today so hopefully will get her in few days.

Landed on 7th Oct at Montreal.

I travelled and it took be 3 days ( weekend in between) to get the travel document through VFS Bangalore

OK Guys
Got PR card today.
Landed on 5th October.
13th January got letter for resubmission of photo at local CIC office.
Submitted at local office on 15th January .
Got PR back in 11 days after photo resubmission .

That's nice. I landed on 5th September, got letter to resubmit photo to CIC, photo reached Sydney, NS on 7th December and I am still waiting for my card.

You can email the embassy in india and ask them
I did that I emailed the embassy in beirut they said it takes 14 days

Receiving AOR in the process of applying for first PRC has proved to be a very good sign. You can expect to receive your wife's card withing 10 days or so. Each PRC is mailed in its own envelope and it's processed as a separate file. So, this AOR is not indicative of the fact that other PRCs in your family will follow shortly. However, if there has not been a follow-up for new photographs from PRC-Sydney, you should expect your cards in the mailbox in the timelines posted on CIC website irrespective of whether you've received an AOR or not.

Hi,

I landed at Lansdowne (Thousand Islands Bridge) on Oct 5, 2015, and I received my PR Card on Jan 26, 2015. I enjoyed the help you guys provide in this forum, and I wish you'll the best.

I would like to note that they did not take a photo from me while landing i.e. they took my photo from the one I had on the COPR. However, I got the COPR in early Feb, 2015, so that photo was a bit old and also according to their previous specifications. I'm surprised that they did not ask me for a new photo.

Next, since I'm not in Canada (but in the US), I had my PR Card delivered to a UPS store. (I rented out a mailbox and had it delivered there.) I have not yet got the PR card in my hand, but the UPS store owner mailed it to me yesterday. (He told me that it felt like there was a credit card in the envelope, and today my package cleared both the Canadian export and the US customs.). So, those who don't have friends in Canada can look at renting a UPS mailbox.

Finally, I would like to note that ECAS does not seem to have any mention that my PR card was either processed or even mailed out. So I think it is useless for those of us who are waiting.

And I am reminding you that this forum is about helping and not making fun of other people opinion or questions

I have helped hundreds of applicants throughout different threads since 2014. And I don't believe that a person with zero rating who has been active only in this thread is in position to remind me of something.

I would like to give a shoutout to Diplomatru for helping me throughout this process, particularly in the initial part of my application, then the FBI PCC, and finally the landing.
