is it better to call or make a case specific enquiry?? First they said 45 days then 85 then 78 now 87 what is wrong with them

Just get off the phone , cic agent put me on longest hold ever(10min). Now there is new card expetecion Before 2 day lady say until 18th to expect my PRC , now agent told me that I should recived PRC end of January - early February ! That get me so And I ask ok why this is happening .. As every time is different date ... He say that everything is ok with my card and that reason for this adding(2/3weeks) is adding security things on PRC ( new cards ). I just want to be DONE with this !

I can imagine you guys with booked flight

So all this bring us that realistick processing time is 4 months ( 110-120 days) after that if we do not receive our PRC then something is wrong with our card

On a positive note, you will receive an RFID PRC with a new design

I landed on Oct 29, and I havent received my PR card yet. I left Canada on Dec 15, and applied for travel doc in Asia on Dec 23. Somehow my travel doc was all done and ready for pickup at the visa app centre on Dec 31st (the visa office alrdy sent it to the visa app centre). But bcos the visa app centre was closed till Jan 4, so I have to pick it up then. Surprisingly quick! :D

Has anyone actually received the redesigned PRC?

Someone did a bunch of pages back in this thread - they confirmed it had the RFID chip built in by holding it up to a light source.
