Waiting for PR Card after landing - add your case here

Dears , what is the chances that this delay is because of wrong photos , Why you are very sure that the photos is accepted ? is it because it is fixed on the COPR ? or because it is on your visa ?

I believe the best solution is to get back by land to Canada from USA to check there for the status .

Dear members.
I have landed with my wife and 2 daughters in toronto on 10th oct 2015.
Got G1 license.
Got Sin numbers.
We all returned from canada for children schooling and my job closure.
Gave my brother's toronto's address at port of landing for pr cards. Gave extra pics. As our copr photos were holding embassy of canada stamps and still waiting for pr cards.
I have planned return to canada permanently in july-aug.

Due to long holiday I guess, hopefully after New Years they will speed up PR card processing times.

I became a PR on June 18th 2015. I got a letter stating that my photos were rejected (20th October). I resent my photos on October 28th. I have tried calling them after that but they state that my photos have not yet been received. On the portal it shows that the package was received. Is there anything else I can do? I have resent my photos but am still waiting for a response. Any office I could walk up to - to identify the problem?

I dont think cic function this way because i know a friend who landed in late september and got her pr in the begining of november.
So like he said lets pray they will speed up the process

VISA Office : CPC : Ottawa. I am not sure if they were attached to COPR. I have sent copies with my original application and have also sent fresh copies on October 28th. Any idea what is happening here?

you are applying from inside Canada and this is the reason , if you apply from outside so prior to issue the COPR they should verify the photos.

iam not sure of this 100% but I believe all the rejected photos are for the inland immigrant not from outside .

so if any one have similar case please share with us

Agent said my card is still in processing and I can expect my card some time in January.

Last time they said my card is still in processing and I can expect my card some time in December.

So I guess when I call them in January they'll say I can expect my card some time in February.

This is bloody ridiculous.

Quink:: when u called them, what specific details they asked from you before they searched ur case and replied u will get in jan????
