I have a question here...Have been desperate to find answers in this forum without luck.

I landed on Sept 4 @ Ottawa. I gave Ontario address for PR card at port of entry. This is my first PR Card. Has anyone changed the address where PR card has to be sent successfully? Did you receive the PR card in new address ( changed through CIC address change notification site given in above thread )? Please let me know. +1 for all responses.

I did not receive PR Card but I successfully updated my initial address. I know that because I got confirmation of my new address from CIC call center as the mailing address of the PR card .

Did ECAS start showing new address? if so, how long did it take for you see the updated address in ECAS?

No.. ECAS shows neither my new address nor my landing address.. It still shows my home country address. During phone call I asked about it, they said it is a common issue and advised me to raise a case specific enquiry about this technical problem. I did it, no change yet.

59 calendar days guys for new PR card requests.

Stupid question maybe...but I suddenly realized I don't know the correct process to get a PR card :o

Landed in Sault Ste. Marie on August 8. ECAS shows my updated mailing address. I THOUGHT they would simply mail the PR card to me. But now I see that you have to APPLY for a PR card with extra paperwork? What am I missing? I thought this was automatic. Please help straighten me out! ???

I landed at Toronto Pearson Airport 15 July.

Just called CIC call center, information is that they have sent out my PR card this Tuesday. It will take 5~7 business days to reach me at Hamilton.

2 weeks ago, I changed my address online, but ecas is still showing my old address which I gave the agent during my landing. But the Call Center agent said they have my new address and the card is mailed to the new one.

Just for your information to evaluate the processing speed.

No need for extra work, just wait for the PR card to arrive at your new address.
