Waiting for PR Card after landing - add your case here

Called CIC again..no update on my card. Agent said it will likely be mailed on or after Oct 1 because of huge backlog of applications.

Any idea if I can call CIC from outside Canada? Or will it be impossible?

Based on the fact that rugbyman received his card on September 4th and landed on June 1st and the fact that you landed on June 15th, I would say that you are more likely to receive your card around the 19th of september (a saturday therefore don't get too concerned if it doesn't arrive until the middle of the week after (22, 23)).

I landed on June 2, 2015. I called in last week of August and the agent mentioned that they have to do some source of verification with my application.
I submitted a case specific inquiry on September 2. Then my ecas showed it is in process on September 4.
I just called CIC and the agent said it was mailed out yesterday Sept 10, 2015.
You should send a case inquiry asking the status of your application.

Finally got my permanent residency card today. I landed on 18 th June at Douglas border vancouver.
See you back in 4 years time and all the best to everyone waiting. Keep patience it's coming.

Thanks kagaya. I have a question. When u say that they had to do some verification with your application, did u apply for pr card separately or you are referring to just ur file since landing?

The agent told me that CIC picks random application for verifying pics of applicant and I am referring to the application since landing.

3. Medical results have been received.
4. A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

How long does it take to reflect the "landed" situation?
Will it show PR card status?

I have been a silent observer of this thread after completing my landing.
Just received PR card ( mine and my two dependents) all at the same time. We landed on different dates June 9, 19 and 21.

This forum has been a tremendous help during this whole journey of obtaining the pemanent residence.

Good luck to those still waiting. See u guys in 4 years!

I am also in the same situation. I did my landing formalities on August 09, 2015 but my ecas is still showing Decision Made and no update of landing so far.

I received a travel document which confirms my permanent residency, I have a new table on ecas screen which shows pr card application status and it still shows decision made in the initial table. I think it wont be updated.
