Hi Guys

I am traveling to Canada in October and will stay there for 15 days before coming back. I will provide my cousins address in Ottawa for delivery of the PR cards. Will she be able to courier them to me outside CA, does DHL accept PR cards?

Thanks

My relative sent my pr card to me outside Canada by FedEx. I think DHL accepts that as well. Take care don't send your pr card by Canada post . Good luck .

Congrats cecorbust, where did you land?

devpsd, are you calling CIC every day to check on the status? I spoke to a really rude agent yesterday who refused to look anything into my file.

no cupcakes. I don't call cic unless my desperation gets the better of me. I have not called them ever for pr card. Even for pr application, only twice in 1 year. They are rude n unprofessional n sound like automated machines. Sometimes sadistic. They say ridiculously things to scare us as if they get a kick out of it. Untrained teens who vent out their personal issues on us. I guess u have read the article on cic staff in the star. I will wait for 90 days.
Some people are getting it faster; like someone landed on 17th. That's cic. No coherence

Me, too, but I'm at that stage now. I called again today, and surprisingly, the agent looked into my profile this time...but no update or info on whether the card has been mailed or even printed. 99.99999999% chance I'll have to rebook return leg, but I'm going to be optimistic and wait a few more days before doing so. You're right about the CIC staff...have a friend whose sister is apparently working in some immigration checkpoint wiht CIC...and even he tells me that he feels pity if any immigrant comes to her desk when landing or re-entering Pearson!

Thanks, cupcakes. I landed at Peach Arch.

I just called CIC to check where it is the status of my PR card. And this time, the agent looked into my account and my spouse account and said that the picture verification is in process. Anyone know how long will it take or the agent just make up a reason??
I landed on June 2

I landed on May 16th and now the call centre guy said that there is some problem with the picture and they will contact me for further steps.

Its so disappointing with such a snail process. My spouse already received the PR card though.
