Ok, April third week cards will be mailed on Friday.
Mine is processed. No ECAS.

The call centre agent was really helpful this time.

i landed on April 16 as well.. still no card.. just have a question- have you called CIC to check on the status of your card? they told me yesterday they started processing it and i was just wondering how long it takes to get it once they start processing the card..

Thank you
Nope, I didn't call them before.

Dear Seniors,

I landed last week in Canada and I will be here for 2 weeks before I go back to my country I am staying with my brother who will relocate in a month do I need to give another address for PR cards to get posted. it looks like it takes more then 2 months as per posts on this thread please confirm

If I need to change address which way is it better online or should I call cic please share CIC contact number.

Also please advice do I need to confirm from CIC whether my PR card processing has started as I have seen some posts on this thread where people are saying they started processing when they followed up with CIC

Regards,

Captain

I relocate before receiving card. Since I saw that address change with CIC is sometime not effective in this thread, I use the mail forwarding service of CanadaPost. They will forward all your mails in the old address to the new address. It costs a little more than $50 for 4 months service if the two addresses are within the same province. Just an idea for you to consider ;)

They will process your app when it is the turn to process it

CIC processing time for New PR cards reduced by 1 day ( now 84 days). That might be a good sign.

Mail forwarding doesn't work for PR cards, because they come in an envelope marked "DO NOT FORWARD".

Someone back a couple of pages mentioned you can use some other sort of mail forwarding, so search for it. Canada post will not do it for sure!

Mail Forwarding via Canada Post for PR card is not possible

I received mine at old address (which is UPS Mailbox) even though I changed address and CIC confirming it that they had posted it to new address.

do both

as per contact number, take your time and google it

I submitted my address to the PR card Centre on May 6th and still haven't gotten my card. Maybe we should create a spreadsheet for new PR cards?

Yup, unfortunately this is true. I am suffering through this right now as Canada post mail forwarding is useless for pr cards. My pr card is somewhere out there and wasn't forwarded to me and I have to wait 6 weeks to see if I get it re-sent to my new address according to cic. Beyond frustrating.
