I landed on July 26th and still havnt received my PR Card. I followed up with CIC and they don't know the reason for delay. As per CIC immigration http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/perm-card.asp, it was 21 calendar days when i landed. Current waiting is 40 days.

Any idea what's the average turn around time?

As per call center it's 36 days plus 2 weeks delay

I landed on July 29th. I called CIC and they responded that I will be getting the PR before end of this month. So we both will be getting around the same time. Let's keep fingers crossed!

Quite a few people on this forum have been reviewed. I don't think they were told the reason for the review, and all you can do is wait...

Drove through Alcan highway from Alaska and completed "LANDING" formalities at Beaver Creek on 29th Aug 2014.
Now the "WAIT" begins for PR card.

Hi All,

I haven't received card yet after 15 days from the date it started from Ottawa to Toronto.

I checked all Canada post counters around my area and the headquarter, problem is they can't track the status of normal mail.
CIC call centre guys tell that they have sent the card and wait for over a month, if not received then request again.

So much trouble because of this: they could have asked us to send another express post envelop at least we could track it, sending such an important id through normal mail doesn't make sense...now it is lost somewhere... god knows where.......I had to cancel my planned trip have been waiting almost from 4 months now...landed on 10th May....

I wish not many applicants suffer in similar situation if you have planned any trip out of Canada counting on PR card...
